Cocaine / Crack Cocaine Or Rocks

Cocaine (benzoylmethyl ecgonine) is a drug made from the leaves of the coca plant.

Cocaine (benzoylmethyl ecgonine) is a crystalline tropane alkaloid that is obtained from the leaves of the coca plant.

The name comes from "coca" in addition to the alkaloid suffix-ine, forming cocaine.

It is both a stimulant of the central nervous system and an appetite suppressant.

Specifically, it is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, a noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor and a serotonin reuptake inhibitor.

Because of the way it affects the mesolimbic reward pathway, cocaine is addictive.

Nevertheless, cocaine is used in medicine as a topical anesthetic, even in children, specifically in eye, nose and throat surgery.

Its possession, cultivation, and distribution are illegal for non-medicinal and non-government sanctioned purposes in virtually all parts of the world. Although its free commercialization is illegal and has been severely penalized in virtually all countries, its use worldwide remains widespread in many social, cultural, and personal settings.

Crack Cocaine is formed by mixing normal cocaine with bicarbonate of soda whereby crystals are formed

Dealers are inclined to mix cocaine with other substances eg household scouring powders, baking powders, ephedrine, teething powder and heroin in order to make bigger profits.

There is no guarantee of the end product. This can lead to sudden death and paralysis.

Cocaine is a white powder that is sniffed, it cannot be smoked as this burning destroys it.

Cocaine can be injected when mixed with heroin (speed balling).

Crack Cocaine is smoked.

Cocaine and Crack Cocaine are highly addictive.
